Retreat - Remembering our divine nature

Description -
In this course, the focus is not so much on learning, as I feel that many people are already tired of learning so many theories and practices, what we really want is to unlearn the unnecessary. All the qualities that we need, are already in us and do not need to be learned, they just need to be incorporated, exposed. Qualities like love, joy and peace are already what you are and are not even an inch away from you. This course will not teach you about a future peace or joy that you will achieve, but a future peace and joy that already exists in your heart. What a wonderful news, to know that we don't need to follow 10 steps to joy, nor 10 steps to success, not even 1 step! The search is over. You are what you are looking for and you are what you need.

1
My divine nature
On this first day, we will explore who we really are and what we are not. Most of the time we suffer from mistakes, for lack of looking and investigating. . It is like a thief who entered our interior and started to steal our whole life and we didn't even do anything. We let him live, sleep with us, feed him, and then complain that he is there. It is there because we left it, and now, we are going to watch it and finally let go of this attachment by the illusory ego.

two
Learning to deal with the mind
The mind is a wonderful tool. But without a conscious guide, it is nothing but a broken car. If a horse is not trained, it will not know how to behave, in the same way, our mind is a tool that needs to be tamed and we need to learn how to deal with it. When we don't do this, the mind starts to control us and dominate our life. We need to regain the power of our lives and stop allowing the unconscious ego to control our life.

3
Ending suffering
Suffering cannot be overcome when we try to overcome it. Suffering has to be accepted and allowed. There is no escaping it, forgetting it or just pretending it doesn't exist. Suffering needs to be welcomed as a mother welcomes a child in the first days of her life.

4
Returning to the present moment
The present moment is the only thing that exists. It is literally a '' gift ''. However, we do not appreciate this gift nor do we enjoy it because we are always lost in the world of the moon (ego). We need to wake up from the trance with the mind and return attention to the only thing that exists; The now.

5
Problems are not problems
Most problems are not really problems. It is our definition that makes things a problem. Things are neutral, and we are the ones who color them with our concepts and definitions. Our biggest problem is, in reality, creating a problem where it doesn't have one.

6
Welcoming the past
Without us illuminating the past and releasing the weight, we will not be able to progress on the path. It is very important to look at the past with clarity and understanding and to understand that everything that happened was part of life. The people who hurt us didn't know what they were doing. Trauma needs to be lightened, as long as it is not, it will continue to unconsciously suck our vital energy and will continue to affect our relationship with ourselves, with life and with others.

7
Opening the heart
Most of us close our hearts at some point in our life. We can no longer look into people's eyes, express our feelings, embrace others. We literally live with a cold, closed heart. Now the time has come to allow yourself and allow the heart to return to life again.

8
The importance of spiritual practices and commitment
On that day, we will reflect on the importance of spiritual practices in life. It is no use we want to free ourselves from suffering, awaken from the ego and live in peace if we do not try and invest our time in it. Here we will talk a little about meditation, prayer, self-investigation and silence.

9
The Importance of Gratitude
Gratitude transforms our lives. There is a phrase by Saint Augustine that speaks; If our only prayer is about gratitude, we will have no more unhappiness. When we stop to realize our lives, we will realize that there are countless reasons to be grateful.

10
Incorporating your qualities
On the last day of the course, we will reflect on how important it is for our lives that the teachings are not limited to reflection and paper. We need to incorporate our achievements, our insights into our daily lives. It is useless to say that we feel love, peace and unity if we do not express it. Our actions need to go in harmony with our achievements.
